From his in depth practical knowledge and experience gained in a wide range of industries, Brian McSherry established McSherry Electrical 1986.

Over the past 25 years the company has developed with careful emphasis on quality and service. In 1994 operations moved into a purpose built premises in the IDA industrial Estate to provide administration, workshop and storage facilities.

McSherry’s heritage is in the provision of electrical services from design through to maintenance for process and manufacturing industries. The decline in these markets in the ’90s has seen the company develop into a broader range of industries such as sports & leisure, healthcare, education, electronics, infrastructure, commercial and retail.

Since 1996 McSherry has operated to ISO 9001 quality standards. In February 2007 the company was awarded the FAS Excellence Through People standard for Human Resources, the first electrical contractor in the country to do so. In 2009 we were finalists in the SFA National Business Awards and completed the FAS supported Going for Growth programme. 2011 saw the company reach the finals of the Ulster Bank Business Achievers Awards in the Munster Region.

McSherry Electrical Ltd. spends an amount equivalent to 5% of wages and salaries on employee training and development annually.
