Project Description

St Mirren Park is the home of St Mirren Football Club. The stadium was opened in January 2009 when they moved from their previous stadium at Love Street in Paisley. The new stadium has all the facilities necessary to host and enjoy a game of football in the 21st Century.

The stadium has a total seating capacity of 8,023 which is split up as follows:

  • Main Stand: 2,220
  • West Stand: 2,516
  • South Stand: 1,633
  • North Stand (away support): 1,654

Design & Supply:

  • 1200 lux sports lighting solution with switching to 600 lux
  • 124 LSG fixtures installed

Project Details

Quality of Light

  • Achieves light level requirements for television broadcasts for the Scottish Premier League matches
  • Provides higher and lower light level option for training and other community activities

Operating Cost Savings

  • Musco’s Light-Structure Green reduces energy consumption from typical floodlighting equipment of 248.2 kW per hour to 193.9 kW per hour
  • 10-year projected life-cycle cost savings is over £21,000 through reduced energy consumption and Musco provided maintenance, including lamp replacements, components, and labour
