From his in depth practical knowledge and experience gained in a wide range of industries Brian McSherry established McSherry Electrical 1986.

Over the past 23 years the company has developed with careful emphasis on quality and service. In 1994, operations moved into a purpose built premises in the IDA industrial Estate to provide administration, workshop and storage facilities. There are currently 35 people employed by the business.

McSherry’s heritage is in the provision of electrical services from design through to maintenance for process and manufacturing industries. The decline in these markets has seen the company develop into a broader range of industries such as sports & leisure, healthcare, electronics, infrastructure, commercial and retail.

We attribute our success to our awareness of the unique requirements of each customer and see our people as our greatest assets and differentiator in the market.

Since 1996, McSherry has operated to ISO 9001 quality standards. In February 2007, the company was awarded the FAS Excellence Through People standard for Human Resources, the first electrical contactor in the country to do so.

In 2009 we were finalists in the SFA National Business Awards and completed the FAS supported Going for Growth programme.

McSherry Electrical Ltd. spends an amount equivalent to 5% of wages and salaries on employee training and development annually. This allows us the scope to broaden our range of offerings and prepare for the future demands of the marketplace.
