Founded in 1986 by Brian McSherry, McSherry Electrical has grown from a specialist provider for the process and manufacturing industries into one of Ireland’s most trusted electrical engineering and contracting firms. Built on a foundation of deep industry knowledge and hands-on experience, the company has consistently prioritised quality, safety, and customer service throughout its development.

EXPERTISE

McSherry’s heritage is founded in the provision of electrical services including design, installation and maintenance for the Process and Manufacturing industries. Recent years have seen the company evolve and diversify into a broader range of industries including: Food & Beverage, Healthcare, Education, Sports & Leisure and Institutional projects.

QUALITY

In 2014 we successfully completed the certification process for ISO 14001 Environmental and ISO 45001 Health & Safety Standards. These standards compliment the ISO 9001 Quality System achieved in 1996 to create an integrated HSEQ System and are a demonstration of our commitment to continuous improvement.

AWARDS

In 2009, McSherry was a finalist in the SFA National Business Awards and completed the FAS supported Going for Growth programme. 2011 saw the company reach the finals of the Ulster Bank Business Achievers Awards in the Munster Region. McSherry has been intricately involved in several award winning projects: We delivered electrical installation services for the Kerry Central Regional Water Supply Scheme which won Engineers Ireland – Engineering Project of the Year in 2018. In 2021, IT Carlow South Sports Campus won the SAPCA Award in the Project Category. McSherry was the design & build contractor responsible for the sports lighting element of this project.
